Obv. Diademed head of the deified Alexander with the horn of Ammon.
Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, holding Nike who crowns royal name, round shield propped against throne, spiral on throne, pi-lamda monogram in left field.
Marinescu, Issue 39 var (in gold). In 1996 Marinescu was unaware of any gold specimens for his issue 39 which was then documented only in silver. Since that time several staters have appeared on the market, including this one.
