Electrum Trite (1/3 stater), 4.70 g., 14 mm., uninscribed issue, minted at Sardes.
Obv. Head of roaring lion right, sun with rays symbol on forehead.
Rev. Two part incuse.
Weidauer Group XVI, 89; Traité I 44; SNG Kayhan 1013; Rosen 655-6.
NGC graded AU, Strike 5/5, Surface 4/5, beautifully struck with great “sun” and wavy man behind the lion.
