Silver “NEW STYLE” Tetradrachm, 16.42 g, 30 mm, ca. 99/8 BC, under magistrates DEMETRIOS and AGATHIPPOS, with control symbol caps of Dioscurii.
Obv. Helmeted head of Athena right, within dotted border.
Rev. A-ӨE, owl standing right, head facing, magistrates’ names in fields, dolphin right in front of trident in right field, ? control by amphora base, Γ on amphora, AΠ in exergue, all within wreath.
Likely Thompson 883d.
NGC graded VF, Strike 5/5, Surface 4/5, part of the first issue in Thompson’s Late Period.
