Silver Denarius, 3.96 g, 19 mm. Minted at an uncertain Spanish Mint, perhaps Colonia Patricia, ca. 20-17 BC.
Obv. Laureate head of Augustus right.
Rev. CAESAR AVGVSTVS, two laurel branches.

NGC graded VF, Strike 5/5, Surface 5/5, one of many propaganda issues recording the great honors bestowed on the emperor and mentioned in his Res Gestae, in this case the pair of laurel wreaths which were placed above the door to his residence.
