KINGDOM OF PERSIS. AUTOPHRADATES I, 3rd-EARLY 2nd CENTURY BC.
Silver tetradrachm, 16.05 g, 32 mm. Overstruck on a tetradrachm of Bagadat.
Obv. Diademed head of Autophradates right, wearing kyrbasia. Rev. Fire temple with king worshipping at left and standard at right, Ahura-Mazda above.

NGC graded AU, Strike 3/5, Surface 3/5, “overstruck”, “undertype: Bagadat tetra.”, with NGC photo certificate. Substantial traces of the Bagadat undertype are visible on the obverse, including the back of the head with the distinctive kyrbasia with flaps, and the figure of the king worshipping on the reverse of the coin.
