Pattern Gold Half Broad, 21.5 mm, 6h. Dies by John S. Tanner. Tower (London) mint. Dated 1656 (though probably struck 1738). Edge: Reeded.

NGC graded PF 63 Cameo, according to Lessen this is 1 of 2 specimens known of the reeded edge variety, the other being in the British Museum in London, and with an outstanding pedigree taking the coin back over two centuries.
