Obv. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS PP, bare head of Hadrian right within dotted border.
Rev. COS III, Zeus Laodiceus standing left, holding eagle.
Metcalf, Cistophori 56 (lists 26 specimens); RIC 497.
NGC graded VF, Strike 4/5, Surface 3/5, “overstruck”. The coin is overstruck on a cistophorus of Augustus, with most of the head still visible (see image of undertype provided for reference).
