NGC graded CHOICE XF, Strike 2/5, Surface 3/5, “flipped over double-strike.” A dramatic and rare ancient minting error in which the struck coin was initially very poorly struck off center, then replaced on the anvil with the obverse up and struck for a second time. The second strike was properly centered but the grossly shifted first impression was still largely preserved underneath it.
