NGC graded XF, Strike 5/5, Surface 2/5, “smoothing”, a wonderful architectural type echoing Augustus’ claims of having closed the Temple of Janus on several occasions, this coin proclaims that Nero did so as well after obtaining peace for the Roman people on land and sea.
