Obv. Head of Venus right, wearing diadem.
Rev. CAESAR DIVI F, Octavian in military attire, holding spear, and extending his right hand to address his troops.
RIC 251; RSC 70; BMC 609; CBN 2.
NGC graded CHOICE AU, Strike 5/5, Surface 3/5, a nice and scarce early denarius, where Octavian proclaims to be the “SON OF A GOD (DIVI FILIUS)”, referring to Caesar’s recent deification.
