Silver stater, 15.73 g., 23 mm, minted at Babylon II mint, ca. 311-303 BC.
Obv. Ba’al enthroned left, holding scepter, within dotted border.
Rev. Lion striding left, anchor left above, within dotted border.
SC 88.2a. HGC 9, 67a.
NGC graded VF, Strike 3/5, Surface 3/5. This coinage was intended for local use in the eastern parts of Alexander’s empire and it continued to be minted under Seleucus as well.
