Silver tetradrachm, 17.17 g., 26 mm, minted at Susa, ca. 305/4-295 BC.
Obv. Head of Seleucus right, wearing helmet with panther skin covering and bull’s ears and horns.
Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣEΛEYKOY, Nike standing right, crowning trophy, AP in left field, ΓΑ control monogram in center field.

NGC graded MINT STATE, Strike 4/5, Surface 4/5, an impressive coin in exceptionally high grade for this famous Seleucid emission. NGC census indicates only 5 coins graded at the MS level (this being one of them), and 1 at the CH MS level. Therefore the piece is among the top 6 graded pieces from this series. Another similar tetradrachm graded CH AU Star recently realized 36K at auction.
