Silver distater, 15.62 g., 28 mm.
Obv. Helmeted head of Athena right, the helmet decorated with Skylla shown with hand raised and moving forward, her fish tail extended behind.
Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ, bull butting right, ΕΥΦΑ above, fish in exergue [here off planchet].
Noe, Thurian J16 (same dies); HN Italy 1823; SNG Copenhagen 1430 (same dies).
NGC graded AU, strike 4/5, surface 4/5, struck on a large oval planchet, the helmet depicting Scylla, the mythical moster made famous in Homer’s Odyssey.
