Silver Half Shekel, 6.44 g., 19 mm, minted in Year 163 (AD 37/8), struck four years after the Crucifixion.
Obv. Laureate head of Melkart right, within dotted border.
Rev. Eagle on prow to left, ΡΞΓ (date) and club to left, KP and X monogram to right, Phoenician letter A between legs.

NGC graded VF, Strike 4/5, Surface 3/5, a very rare year for half shekels, struck 4 years after Christ’s crucifixion.
