Obv. Laureate head of Melkart right, within dotted border.
Rev. Eagle on prow to left, ΠΗ (date) above club in left field, ΠAC control monogram
in right field, Phoenician letter A between legs.
DCA Tyre Supplement Release 2, no. 302 corr. (Cohen was unsure of the letter between the eagle’s legs on the specimen he consulted, but the present coin clearly shows that it is an alef).
NGC graded CHOICE XF, Strike 4/5, Surface 3/5, boldly struck and with considerable visual appeal.
