Obv. Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis. Rev. ΠTOΛEMAIOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, transverse thyrsus with fillets in background, LΛΓ (date) in left field, ΣΑ in right field.
Svoronos 1548; Olivier, Archè et chrêmata en Égypte, 572-577 (obverse die 128, here in a worn state with numerous die breaks).
Ex Salton Collection, likely acquired in the 1950s-1960s when Mr. Salton owned a numismatic firm in New York.
