Silver Tetradrachm, 14.08 g, 28 mm. Issue of Alexandria, possibly in 282 BC, the first year of Ptolemy II’s sole reign.
Obv. Diademed bust of Ptolemy I right, with aegis around neck. Rev. ΠTOΛEMAIOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, Σ control monogram in left field.
