Silver “New Style” Tetradrachm, 16.13 g, 32 mm. Issue of ca. 95/4 BC, under magistrates Aropus, Mnasago–, with Agon control symbol.
Obv. Helmeted head of Athena right. Rev. AΘE, owl standing right, head facing, magistrates’ names APO/ΠΟΣ / ΜΝΑ/ΣΑ/ΓΟ in fields, Agon with palm in right field, H? (month) on amphora, ΠE in exergue, all within wreath.

NGC graded XF, Strike 2/5, Surface 4/5, “triple strike,” interesting multiple strike on the reverse, creating the impression of three owls; it should be noted that the A and Θ in AΘE are duplicated as well, as is Agon’s left side that overlaps one of the owl impressions.
