Silver Tetradrachm, 16.87 g, 27 mm. Issue of Alexandria Troas.
Obv. Winged diademed head of idealized king right, with heavy features and slightly aquiline nose, perhaps a portrait of Antiochus I. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY, Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in right hand and resting left hand on grounded bow, retrograde KA in left field, horse grazing left flanked by retrograde IOA monogram in exergue.
SC 875.1a; WSM 1567; HGC 9, 399g; Ellis-Evans, Alexandreia Troas, O2/R2a (same dies), with only three specimens of this die combination catalogued.
