Silver Drachm of Alexander type, (4.05 g), 20 mm.
Obv. Head of young Heracles right in lion skin headdress, surrounded by a heavy dotted border. Rev. AΛEΞΔΛ, Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle and scepter, abstract bee in left field.

NGC graded CHOICE VF, extremely rare, with few similar specimens in market records. The prototype may well be an Alexander lifetime drachm issue of Sardes (cf. Price 2563–2564), showing a similarly oriented bee.
