Obv. Wreathed head of young Dionysus right. Rev. ΗΡΑΚΛΕΟΥΣ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΘΑΣΙΩΝ, Heracles standing facing, head left, holding club, lion skin draped over left arm; M monogram to inner left.
Prokopov, Silberprägung, Group VI, klasse “F”, 108 (V F3/R 93); Lukanc, no. 4, pl. 8 (same obverse die).
VF, according to Prokopov among the very early refined products from the mint of Thasos; others, like Lukanc, suggest a possible imitative product of high style, though that seems rather unlikely.
