Gold Daric, 8.34 g, 20 mm. Issue of Sardes.
Obv. King running right, wearing tall turreted crown, carrying bow and spear, small quiver on shoulder. Rev. Rectangular incuse punch with irregular linear design.

NGC graded XF, Strike 4/5, Surface 4/5, struck on a peculiar elongated planchet curiously reminiscent of the much earlier forms used for Croesus’ Lydian gold staters of the “light standard.”
