NGC XF, Strike 4/5, Surface 3/5, “overstruck.” The undertype is a cistophorus of Augustus, almost certainly the type featuring a Capricorn within a laurel wreath on the reverse (RIC 477); parts of the undertype’s wreath remain visible on the reverse of the coin.
