NGC VF 25; Countermark: EF Standard.
It seems that 1835 is the last recorded year of Mexico’s 8 Reales coinage to reach the Philippines in time to be countermarked by March of 1837 when the countermarking process came to an end. Four such specimens are documented so far, countermarked with two different crown varieties.
